Unga wa ngano kikombe 1  

Yai 1 la kupakia juu 

Arki unayopenda(nimetumia vanilla na ya chungwa) kijiko ki1 ki1 cha chai 

Ufuta (si lazima)   

Sukari kijiko 1 cha chakula (si lazima)

MATAYARISHO 

  1. Kwenye bakuli weka siagi,maziwa,viini ya mayai , baking powder, custard powder, chumvi,arki na sukari

2.Saga kwa kutumia mwiko,mchapo au machine ya kusagia kwa muda wa dakika 3 hadi 5

  1. Anza kuweka unga wa ngano huku unachanganya 

  1. Unga ukichanganyika ukawa donge , likande kwa dakika 2 hadi 3

  1. Lifunike,liweke  sehem lijivute kwa dakika 7 hadi 10 

 6.pakaza mafuta trey yako 

  1. Baada ya dakika 7 hadi 10 , lisukume kwa kutumia kifimbo cha chapati  mpaka uwe size , isiwe nyembamba sana 

 8. Kata kwa kutumia kifaa chochote cha kukatia vileja 

  1. Vipange kwenye trey , vipakaze yai juu na ufuta 

10 . Vichome kwa oven moto 180°c kwa dakika 10 hadi 15 au mpaka uone vimewiva na kubadilika rangi,  vitoe (manjano ilokoza)

*Unaweza kutumia mkaa pia kuokea.

INGREDIENTS 

6 tablespoons butter, 1/3 cup

Salt to taste

2 egg yolks 

1 teaspoon baking powder 

1 tablespoon custard power 

Whole milk 4 tablespoons 
  
1 cup plain flour 

1 egg 

Essence ( i used vanilla and orange)  teaspoon each 

Sesame seeds for garnishing (option) 

1 tablespoon granulated sugar (option) 

METHOD 

  1. In a bowl, put butter,milk,eggyolks,baking powder, custard powder, salt,essence and sugar
  2. Mix by using a wooden spoon, wisk or mixer machine for 3 to 5 mins 

  3. After that, start adding flour while continuing mixing 

  4. When dough has formed,  knead for 2 to 3 mins

5.cover and let it rest for 7 to 10 mins

  1. Grease a baking tray 
  • After 7-10 mins, roll up your dough using a rolling pin until the dough is the right width and thickness (not too thick) 

  • Cut the cookies using any cutter 

  • Place them in a greased baking tray , brush some egg and sesame seeds on top 

  • Bake at 180°c oven temperature for 10-15 mins or until you get a perfect golden yellow

    HOW TO MAKE CONDENSED MILK AT HOME/JINSI YA KUTENGENEZA MAZIWA MAZITO NYUMBANI


    Ni rahisi sana kutengeneza maziwa mazito nyumbani kwa mahitaji ya vitu viwili tu 

    Maziwa ya maji vikombe 2

    Sukari nyeupe kikombe 1

    MATAYARISHO 

    1. Kwenye pan yamoto tia sukari na maziwa

    2.koroga kwa sekunde 30 au dkk 1 

    3.wacha yachemke kwa moto wa kiasi

    4.uwe unakoroga mara kwa mara (kila baada sekunde 30 au dakika 1 ili maziwa yasigande au kuunguwa 

    5.wacha yachemke kwa moto wa kiasi mpaka yawe mazito yanavyotakikana kwa muda wa dakika 20 hadi 25 


    6.zima moto wacha yapoe 

    7.yapo tayari kutumiwa au yahifanyi kwenye kikopo cha mfuniko

    it is very easy to make condensed milk at home with just 2 ingredients 
    2 cups full fat milk 

    1 cup granulated white sugar 

    METHOD 

    1. In a hot pan ,pour milk and sugar 
    2. stir for 30 seconds to 1 min

    3.boil on a medium heat 

    4.keep stirring every after 30 senconds to 1 min so that it doesn’t stick to the pan 

    1. Boil until thickened to desired consistency 
  • Turn of the heat and let it cool

  • Ready to use or store in a airtight container

    VILEJA VYA TAMBI (sweet roasted vermicelli balls) 

    MAHITAJI

    Tambi nyembamba mfuko 1 (200 g)

    Samli vijiko 3 vya chakula

    Maziwa mazito nusu kikopo (200g)

    Zabibu kavu nusu kikombe

    Arki ya vanilla kjk 1 cha chai
    MATAYARISHO

    1. Vunja vunja tambi ziwe ndogo ndogo sana

    1. Teleka sufuria tia samli ikipata moto tia tambi

    3.koroga uwe unazivunja vunja kwa mwiko mpaka ziwe brown kiasi (dakika 3-5) kwa moto wa kiasi

    1. Tia maziwa mazito na zabibu kavu ,changanya

    5.tia arki ,changanya kwa sekunde 30 au dkk 1 ,zima jiko

    1. Tumia  vikombe vya kahawa au kitu chochote kutolea shape, vipake mafuta, tia tambi zako zikiwa bado zamoto kikombe karibia kijae ,didimiza kwa kutumia kijiko weka pembeni

    7.malizia zilobaki

    8.baada ya dakika 1 au 2 vitoe taratibu, tumia ujiti kuanzia kutoa ukiona vinafanga tabu kutoka.

    INGREDIENTS

    Roasted vermicelli 1 packet /200g

    Ghee 3 tbsp

    Condensed milk 100g

    Red or black raisins 1/2 cup

    Vanilla essence 1 tsp

    METHOD

    1.Break the roasted vermicelli into smaller pieces

    1. Heat the ghee , add roasted vermicelli
  • In a medium heat, keep breaking the vermicelli using a wooden spoon ,while mixing until light brown

  • Add condensed milk and raisins, mix well

  • Add 1 tsp of vanilla essence, mix for 30 secs to 1 minute,  switch off the heat.

  • Use a small coffee cups or any round shaped mould to get the perfect shape (see the pictures above) use a spoon, put some cooked roasted vermicelli  almost full while still hot use  back of the spoon to tighten the balls , keep aside

  • Repeat the process

  • After 1 or 2 mins remove them out of the cups/moulds . If they are not coming out easily, use a wooden stick

  • Serve

  • Enjoy.

    Vitunguu vichanga vilokatwa katwa kikombe 1

    Mafuta ya kupikia vjk 3-4

    Kitunguu saum+tangawizi mbichi kjk 1 cha kula

    Pilipili hoho rangi 3

    Carrot 1

    Tomato fresh 2

    Chumvi kiasi

    Bizari nyembamba + pilipili manga kjk 1 cha kula

    Curry powder kjk 1 cha kula

    Spice ya samaki kjk 1 cha kula

    Bizari ya mchuzi kjk 1 cha chai

    Pilipili paste au nzima

    Soya sauce ya kukoza vjk 3 vya kula(si lazima)

    Maji nusu kikombe
    1. Tia mafuta kwenye pan kaanga vitunguu vichanga

    2 tia kitunguu saum na tangawizi mbichi,

    3.tia pilipili hoho na carrot ulizozikata kata nyembamba na refu,funika wacha ziwive kiasi (dkk 2)

    4.tia tomato zilizosagwa au kukatwa katwa na chumvi ,funika wacha dakika 2-3

    5.tia samaki wa kukaanga

    6.tia bizari nyembamba,pilipili manga,curry powder, spice ya samaki,bizari ya mchuzi, soya sauce,pilipili, vitunguu vichanga,ndimu au limau na maji.

    1. Koroga wacha kwa dakika nyengine 3-5 kwa moto wa kiasi ,mpaka ikauke kiasi ,

    8.onja chumvi kama ipo sawa epua na

    INGREDIENTS

    Fried fish 3 pieces

    Chopped spring onion 1 cup

    Cooking oil 3-4 tbsp

    Ginger+garlic 1 tbsp

    Mixed peppers 3 colours (cut into lines)

    1 carrot (cut into lines)

    2 fresh tomatoes

    Salt to taste

    Cumin powder + black pepper 1 tbsp

    Curry powder 1 tbsp

    Fish seasoning 1 tbsp

    Cumin powder 1 tsp

    Chilli paste or fresh chilli 1 tbsp

    Dark soya sauce 3 tbsp (option)

    1/2cup water

    1.Put oil in a pan, fry spring onion

    2.add ginger+garlic paste

    3.add mixed peppers and carrots ,let it cook for 2 mins

    4.add chopped or blended tomatoes and salt, cover let it cook for 2 to 3 mins

    5.add fried fish

    6.add cumin powder+black pepper, curry powder, fish seasoning, tumeric powder, chilli paste or chopped fresh chilli,dark soya sauce,spring onion,lemon or lime juice and water

    7.stir, let it cook in a medium heat for another 3 to 5 mins or until thickened

    8.taste to adjust the salt
